Let me start by saying one thing: Mike will never, ever forget this wedding. I fell in love with a nerd, and a history buff. He was surrounded by living history, honor and valor, true American heroes. It was a week after Tracy's wedding and he was STILL talking about how in awe he was throughout the day.
Our groom - a Navy Cross recipient. Lots of men in uniform. Lots of handsome men in uniform. ;) (Sorry, I couldn't resist the wink.) Our bride - a knockout. Truly glowed from the inside out. She was graceful under pressure, smiled all day/night long and the love for her guy? So obvious.
The couple, who've been together for two years after meeting through friends in California (even though they both are Massachusetts natives), were engaged at dinner at the Grand Coronado Hotel. The following day, they celebrated their engagement by JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE with their friends. Billy arranged for friends to go skydiving with them. They took the plunge.
I'm so pun-ny.
So gushing aside, serving as wedding photographers to document another moment in Billy and Tracy's life was an honor for us. The Leicester Country Club served as a beautiful early spring backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. The beautiful flowers were designed by local florist Holmes Sushas Flowers, and the cake was by Alice at Counter Bean Bakery. The entertainment? None other than the voice we all grew up listening to on the radio, Balthazar. It was a party filled with love, laughter and totally swoon-worthy uniforms.
That last photo? It made Mike's day.
